Participants in this level of training are either contemplating competitive swimming or simply want to improve their swim ability for exercise or enjoyment. Goals are mastery of strokes, efficiency of movement, improved stamina and confidence.

PreTeam Aquatics Skills include:

  • Deep water entry.

  • Swim front crawl.

  • Swim elementary backstroke.

  • Swim breast stroke.

  • Swim back crawl.

  • Maintain position in water by floating

  • Maintain position in water by treading.

  • Efficiency and stamina improvment.

NOTE: There is not necessarily a connection between our general level descriptions and the number of lessons a person takes. Everyone learns at different rates and the learning process depends upon the student’s willingness to participate in the process.
